Jon R. Seavey

Jon graduated from Mount Desert Island High School in Mount Desert, Maine in 1973. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Tampa and a minor in Economics in 1977.

Jon spent the first 2 years of his career as the University of Tampa Spartans Golf Coach where he took the team from anonymity to a nation's top 10 ranking.

The next 8 years were spent as a PGA Club Golf Professional where he managed more than 40 employees. This job required him to wear many hats, such as human resources, payroll, budgets, inventory, sales, food services, and agronomy just to name a few.

The past 16 years to present were all spent in sales and marketing positions.

He started by owning and operating a photography business for 3 years and learned the many nuances of a start up business.

He then went on to sell and inventory auto parts for 3 years. This endeavor gave him a direct selling retail experience that will certainly pay dividends for IPS.

The past 11 years were spent as a sales representative for the largest privately held PEO (employee leasing) company in the nation. This business is also a Fortune 100 company. The business knowledge gained by working for this PEO was vast and all encompassing. He learned all facets of payroll including direct deposits and wire transfers. He also acquired valuable wisdom about benefits, safety programs, human resources, workers' compensation, insurances, and retirement planning. The PEO business touches nearly every core aspect of a company and some fringe areas as well.

He now co-owns Innovative Payment Solutions LLC (electronic check recovery service) with his brother.

The past business experiences along with Jon's integrity, personality and persistence make him well equipped for business ownership.

Jon is married and has one son.
