How do I set up my website to accept online payments? [top]Up
That’s easy, we communicate with your web designer or IT provider and he should have a payments button added to your site in about 15 minutes. Once a customer enters your site through the payment button it will feel like you and look like you but they will actually be on our Web based site.
How do I know when an Internet sale took place? [top]Up
Logon to GoToBilling and click on the reports tab on the menu at the top of page. Now click on the ACH Settlement Report and look at the date(s) that you want.
What kind of payments can GoToBilling handle? [top]Up
Our multiple payments portal lets you pay and be paid, via credit card, debit card, electronic check, savings account, checking account, or EBT. You can automatically send out recurring bills, make direct deposits to your bank account, pay employees, accept voice-activated and online payments and pay your vendors.

Am I going to have to use your Credit Card Processor? [top]Up
No. We seamlessly link to your Credit Card Processor. We will offer you a free Credit Card Analysis; because of economies of scale many times we can get you better rates.
Do I need to purchase any equipment? [top]Up
Absolutely not. GoToBilling requires no equipment, no terminals, no software, and no IT support. All that is required is a computer with high speed internet access and printer.
How is a rejected transaction handled? [top]Up
Settlement details are posted to your account and are viewable on your computer. Again, logon to GoToBilling and on the menu at the top of the page click on the Reports tab. Now click on the ACH Settlement Report and look for any rejected items. An example of a rejected transaction is a NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) ACH. This report contains all the information necessary to identify the returns. So now you have the option of letting IPS automatically start the recovery process (highly recommended), you can "run" the transaction again through GoToBilling or contact the Consumer directly to follow-up with this customer challenge.
What is the maximum dollar amount allowed per sale? [top]Up
Limits are independently established for each merchant.
Can consumers "charge-back” purchases? [top]Up
Credit cards: GoToBilling will generate a refund at your command. ACH: Customer account can be credited as well.
Will my bank, charge me a fee for electronic deposits? [top]Up
Most don’t but it’s becoming more prevalent. If it does, then you might consider switching your account to another bank.
How soon can I begin accepting payments? [top]Up
The typical approval time is 3 to 5 days after receiving your completed application. We do recommend that we educate you first, approximately 1- 3 hours.
Will my Customer be returned to my site after the purchase? [top]Up
YES! You simply supply us with the exact location page (www.mysite.com) or, you can customize your own secure purchasing page. It's totally up to you.
How will funds be deposited into my account? [top]Up
We ACH deposit all funds into your designated bank account.
How soon will funds be deposited into my account? [top]Up
Your funds will be deposited into your account within 24-48 hours of the online transaction not counting weekends and holidays. Federal Reserve Rules require a maximum of 72 hours for transactions to clear but transactions that occur before 8:00pm Eastern Standard Time will very likely be there next day. IPS utilizes the NACHA electronic network that transfers and clears funds between banking institutions on behalf of merchants and their customers. We strongly suggest that merchants wait five days from the initial transaction date before shipping any goods to insure that the payment has cleared.
How will I be billed for the Web based payment service? [top]Up
Your designated account, (checking, savings, or credit card) will be debited the same day of each month that is most cash flow convenient to you. You are in control so you decide. You will receive an email that the billing has occurred.
Is it legal? [top]Up
YES. Electronic entries are transactions subject to the requirements of the NACHA Operating Rules, the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and Regulation E, as promulgated by the Federal Reserve Board. WEB authorized entries are defined as a debit entry to a Consumer Account initiated by an Online Merchant pursuant to an authorization that is obtained from the Consumer via the Internet.
Does this work with every type of electronic Point of Sale Terminal? [top]Up
